Rusty Jackson is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and a truly unique “one man band” performer. His shows are filled with creative original songs, as well as familiar classics and spontaneous comedy.
Rusty grew up listening to Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard and Hank Williams as well as the pervasive pop and rock sounds of the Beatles, the Beach Boys and Motown. Rusty’s song “The music from when I was a kid” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88mmwWMMiog) talks about his musical influences. And Rusty has also played in church a great deal and has written several faith based songs. Also, the track below “I Found McCall” (https://rusty-jackson.com/track/1045770/original-i-found-mccall?autostart=true) tells the true story of how Rusty got his first gig when he was 19 years old.
Rusty plays locally in the Pacific Northwest, his tour schedule can seen at www.rusty-jackson.com/calendar.htm
